Settings
Make it yours.
Ruckus is free. All of it.
Every feature you've used is free and always will be. Stats, sub-ratings, TV tracking,
unlimited lists, export, all of it. No trial, no locked pages, no “upgrade to see this”.
Ruckus Pro exists for people who want to chip in and keep this independent.
It turns off the ads, adds a small tag on your reviews, and gives your profile a unique
border. That's the whole thing. Profile customization itself stays free for everyone.
We'll mention it once and then leave you alone. Free users are not second-class here.

100-Point Scorei
Type a score out of 100 and it converts to stars (89 becomes 4.5). Stars also display their score.
Expand Advance Ratingsi
The sub-rating sliders (acting, cinematography and friends) start open on every title. Off by default, the stars stay simple.

Show:
Review Visibilityi
Anybody who can't still sees that you logged a title, but not
your stars, your review or your heart. People you follow means the people
you chose, not everyone who follows you.
Watchlist Visibilityi
Your watchlist shows on your profile, with who suggested each
title if you said. People you follow means the people you chose, not
everyone who follows you.
Post Logs by Defaulti
On by default: each log has its own “Post to feed” switch when
you write it, and it starts ticked. Turn this off and it starts clear instead.
Anything already posted stays posted either way.
A log with this off stays off the feed — but it is still on your profile, in your
recent activity and in your stats, the same as every other log. Only the feed is
affected.
Allow Repliesi
On by default: people can reply to your reviews. Turn
this off and the reply box goes away on reviews of yours. Replies already
posted stay posted, and you can still reply to anybody else.

Your Data
Undo the Last Importi
Restores your diary to exactly how it was before.
Export Your Diaryi
Download everything as JSON. Yours, always, Pro or not.
Import a Ruckus Exporti
Merges by entry, duplicates are skipped.
Import from Letterboxdi
Upload the whole letterboxd-...zip from their official export
(Letterboxd Settings, then Data, then Export your data). Diary, ratings, reviews, likes,
rewatches, watchlist and lists all come across; TV logged as films gets converted.
A single CSV from inside the zip works too.
The export is website-only. Letterboxd's mobile app cannot
produce the ZIP — you have to do this part at letterboxd.com in a browser. It is
the same account either way.
Open letterboxd.com in a browser and sign in.
Go to Settings, then the Data tab.
Press Export your data and save the letterboxd-…zip.
On by default. When something in Ruckus breaks, the app sends the
error message, the line it came from, the screen you were on, your build number and
your @username — and nothing else. Never your diary, your reviews, your email or
your password. It is how a bug gets found without somebody having to notice and
tell us.
Always Export Before Clearingi
Automatically downloads a backup whenever you clear your data.
Clear Everythingi
Wipes your diary, lists and watchlist from this device. And from your Ruckus account when you are signed in — the
cloud copy does not survive this. Signed out, it clears this device only.
Export first. Clearing can't be undone, and your diary only lives on this device
until accounts exist. Download a backup and you can import it right back.

Restore Default Settingsi
Puts every setting back the way a new user sees it. Your diary, lists, drafts, profile and account stay untouched.

Account
Log Out of Your Profilei
Signs this device out. Your data stays safe in the cloud and comes back when you log in.
Blocked Membersi
They cannot see you and you cannot see them. They were never told.
Delete Your Accounti
Removes your Ruckus account and everything in it,
everywhere. This cannot be undone.
This deletes your account, not just this device. Your diary, ratings and
reviews, your lists, your Ruckus Rack, your badges, who you follow and who follows you,
your messages, and every comment you have written are removed from Ruckus and from every
device you use. There is no undo and no grace period.
Comments other members left on your reviews go with them. A report you
filed about someone else stays with our moderation records, but your name comes off it.
Export first if you want to keep any of it. The file imports straight back into
a new account later.
